Dr. Fredrick Wirth, author of Prenatal Parenting, recommends taking time out during the day to relax and actually send love down to your baby. You can quietly talk to your growing unborn child and he or she will pick up on the positive emotions. Your baby is wired into your neurotransmitters and by taking this time, not only are you doing your body a favor by relaxing and renewing. Your baby is benefiting physically and emotionally, too.
