So, you are PREGNANT! Congratulations!! You are getting ready for a truely amazing journey. Learning that you are expecting a new baby can be one of the most exciting events in your life. As your body begins the changes that come along with pregnancy, there will be a lot of questions that you will be asking. Understanding the changes that your body is going through will help you deal with the symptoms that will invariably come along with your pregnancy. As you go through the first trimester, you may ask yourself what some of the physical changes are that your body will be going through. Being prepared will help you rest assured that things are going normal.
One of the first things most women notice to indicate pregnancy is a missed period. Although symptoms vary from woman to woman, your body will eventually stop having a period. Pregnancy tests can indicate pregnancy within days of the first missed period. If your body is on a very normal cycle and suddenly you don't have a period, you might want to look for other symptoms to follow soon.

Wondering if you are pregnant, but you haven’t missed your period yet, and haven't taken a pregnancy test? Believe it or not there are symptoms of pregnancy that you can experience before you miss your period. I should pause for a moment and tell you that some of these symptoms can also be a signal that your period is about to start. What you need to pay attention to is whether or not these are symptoms that you have every month or if they are new. Also, it is possible for you to have a period and still be pregnant. If your period is lighter than usual or if the length of it is shorter, and/or if the symptoms you are experiencing are new, you could be pregnant.
Fatigue can be a big indicator of a possible pregnancy. It is during early pregnancy that our levels of progesterone hit new heights, which can put us to sleep. Fatigue in early pregnancy can also be triggered by low blood sugar, low blood pressure coupled with increased blood production.

During your first prenatal visit, your health care provider will take blood samples. Several things will be tested, including your blood type. The reason this is done is to check for the presence or lack of Rh factor in the blood. This is important because if your baby has Rh factor in his blood and you do not, this could cause problems in later pregnancies.Filed under Health, Pregnancy Tests by More4kids Inc.

You just found out you are pregnant, and now you are wondering whether or not your are carrying twins. Not that most women wonder this, the curiosity or fear is usually sparked by comments such as, “Wow! Are you sure you’re not carrying twins, you seem big for how pregnant you are.” While it is important to refrain from slapping this innocent person upside the head from making such a comment, there are a number of indicators that you might experience physically that could give you an inkling as to whether or not the bundle of joy is going to be a double whammy. With that said, here are some of the first signs of twin pregnancy.
The Weight Factor During Pregnancy
Obviously the first thing to consider is weight gain, take for granted that is what sparks the comments to begin with. When you are pregnant there is a certain amount of weight your doctors expect you to gain during your pregnancy, typically that is 20 to 25 pounds. Most of that weight will come in the last trimester. However if you are carrying twins, then by the time you are in your second trimester you will already be at about 20 pounds with an entire trimester to go.

In days past it would often take weeks to get the results of a pregnancy test, after a visit to your doctor. Today, when you start to experience some of the early signs of pregnancy, you can have the answer in minutes.
Home pregnancy tests work much the same way as those carried out by professional labs. Both test for the presence and level of a hormone called hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) in blood or urine. Blood samples are considered more reliable, but certainly less pleasant, particularly for home tests. Most of them test urine.
Two criteria chiefly determine the worth of a home pregnancy test: readability and sensitivity.

The early signs of pregnancy are not the same for every woman. Whether this is your first time to become pregnant or you have already experience labor and everything that goes with it once or twice in your life, be aware that your body will react differently to each pregnancy.
The signs of pregnancy will also vary in their duration, intensity and frequency. Since the earliest symptoms of pregnancy are similar to those you pre-menstrual discomforts you feel, it is normal to mistake them from each other.

If you have some of the early signs of pregnancy, an ept pregnancy test might help to determine whether or not you are pregnant. When a woman suspects she might be pregnant, it is hard to concentrate on anything else until she finds out for sure. An ept early pregnancy test is easy to find, relatively inexpensive to purchase, and accurate enough to give most women peace of mind quickly and privately. Women who have used an ept early pregnancy test can get to the doctor for confirmation early in the pregnancy, and the earlier prenatal care begins, the better the odds of having a healthy pregnancy and baby.
